• Our weekly event series features a unique program every Thursday night, offering a diverse range of entertainment and activities. Each week brings something new and exciting, ensuring there's always something for everyone to enjoy!

Birding for Beginners
• Dates: July 25
• Time: 8:30 am - 10:30 am
• Ages: Adults & Interested Youth
• Though migration may have slowed down there are still plenty of birds to see at our park! Whether it is permanent residents or birds just passing through, join our program to learn more about these avian wonders. Some birds you might see this July include: Bronzed Cowbird, Cave Swallow, Couch's Kingbird and the Orchard Oriole who will be making their own migration back down south!

Flashlight Nights
• Date: Every Tuesday in July and August
• Time: 8:30pm-10:00pm
• Ages: Adults on the first Tuesday of the month; All ages rest of the month
• Fee: $5
Enjoy Quinta Mazatlán in a different light during guided night walks through the forest. Encounter nocturnal animals like scorpions, spiders, and other critters of the nights – all with an experienced naturalist leading the way. Guests are encouraged to bring their own flashlights.

ReUse Pinhole Camera Workshop
Join us and our friends at ReUSeArte to explore the natural world through the natural optical phenomena of camera obscura. Using recycled materials, participants will craft and design their own pinhole camera, then use it to explore selected viewspots at the sanctuary! (All Re-Use materials provided)
About ReUSeArte:
A creative RGV Reuse non-profit organization established in 2023. Their mission is to inspire individuals to reuse materials, promoting creative expression, community engagement, and environmental conservation.

Rooted Yoga
• Dates: July 22, August 12 & 26
• Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm
• Ages: All Ages Welcome
• Fee: $5
Bring your mats, blankets, blocks, natural insect repellent, water and be ready to become one with nature through yoga, meditation and sound. Instructors from Quiet Mind Yoga will teach a beginner friendly yoga flow with yoga poses and meditation that all the family can participate in.
